The dataset from kaggle https://www.kaggle.com/kmader/rsna-bone-age contains xray images of left hands of children, which are used to determine the bone age of the children. The images have different sizes and sometimes low contrasts, the Python package skimage is used to preprocess the images.
- Add black margin to all images
- Rescale the images
- Enhance the contrast
