How-To

  • Go to TextMate preferences > Advanced > Shell Variables and add TM_FLEX_PATH with your Flex SDK path (/Users/gabriellaet/code/flex_sdk_3/)

  • Make sure you have Python 2.5 and OSX 10.5.5+;

  • Create a TextMate project and add a build.yaml file like that:

      ---
      default:
          - debug: false
            open: public/myapp.swf

      applications:
          - class: source/classes/Main.as
            output: public/myapp.swf

          # - class: source/classes/MyOtherApp.as
          #   output: public/MyOtherApp.swf

      source-path:
          - source/classes

      library-path:
          - source/swc

      # asdoc:
      # - title: "My ActionScript project"
      # footer: "My ActionScript project footer"
      #       output: /path/to/docs/
      #       exclude-dirs:
      #         - source/classes/caurina/
      #

  • Command + B to build;

  • Command + Option + B to build and run;

  • Command + R to run;

  • Command + K to generate ASDocs;

  • Command + D to debug;

  • If you want to change the path of your build.yaml, create a project variable called TM_FLEX_BUILD with the path you want;
