Features I like about labnotes that other tools do not (readily) have

This justifies why I still want to hold on to and revive this piece of software

Some not so compelling reasons:

• I'm happy with how it works with Latex and Beamer the way I wanted / liked
• It makes it possible to maintain 3 of my websites using dokuwiki

Some compelling reasons:

• include, lite, out blocks and output, file actions are good (like knitr only not in R)
• The crossref API is great
