This prototype was developed as part of a research project for class SOEN-357. The goal of the research project is to assess whether an application that would allow users to access more relevant, personalized and up to date information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic in Quebec could help reduce the confusion and frustration of the population and prevent them from using unreliable sources of information thus allowing them to better follow the rules and be overall better informed.
- Install Node.js
- Download the Expo Go app on your phone
- Clone the repository
- Enter Directory
cd covid-info - Install node modules
npm install - Install expo CLI
npm install -g expo-cli** Note: You might have to run it with--legacy-peer-deps - Start the application
npm start - Scan the QR code displayed on the terminal and open the Expo app
