This python tool aims to retrieve stock prices by using the Yahoo Finance API. The tool requires a single command line argument, your unique Yahoo Finance API key. The HTTP response is stored in an excel file located in the same directory the tool is located in.
If you don't have a unique Yahoo Finance API key then you can subscribe here for a basic plan and be able to make up to 100 requests per day for free.
pip install -r requirements.txt
streamlit run main.py <api_key>
