Submitted by: Jorge Gerardo Porras
Time spent: 6 hours hours spent in total
The following required functionality is complete:
- User can enter a bill amount, choose a tip percentage, and see the tip and total values.
- Settings page to change the default tip percentage.
The following optional features are implemented:
- UI animations
- Remembering the bill amount across app restarts (if <10mins)
- Using locale-specific currency and currency thousands separators.
- Making sure the keyboard is always visible and the bill amount is always the first responder. This way the user doesn't have to tap anywhere to use this app. Just launch the app and start typing.
The following additional features are implemented:
- List anything else that you can get done to improve the app functionality!
Here's a walkthrough of implemented user stories:

For some reason when I worked on the settings section the Connector Inspector had multiple inspector so my app was crashing, I think this was because things got defined twice and I never found a way to know if there were two references to the same controller. I found it when I tried to rename it and then when removed from the code they crash error still showed the old name thats when I search for the name and found where this was redefined. Took me at lest 1hr to find out the root cause.
