This code presents the generic functions and scripts used in "Measuring associations between the microbiota and repeated measures of continuous clinical variables using a lasso-penalized generalized linear mixed model" by Tipton, et. al.
Updated May 2016 to include an option for type of correlation for the pre-screening step. Updated August 2017 to include examination of resulting model including R^2 and residual plots.
