My Project

This project consists of a Python server and a React frontend.

Prerequisites

• Python 3.8 or later
• Node.js 14 or later

Setup

Backend

1. Navigate to the backend directory.
2. Create a new Python virtual environment: python3 -m venv myenv.
3. Activate the virtual environment: source myenv/bin/activate.
4. Install the Python dependencies from requirements.txt: pip install -r requirements.txt.

Frontend

1. Navigate to the frontend directory.
2. Install the Node.js dependencies: npm install.

Running the Project

Backend

With the virtual environment activated:

1. Navigate to the backend directory if not already there.
2. Run python server.py.

Frontend

1. Navigate to the frontend directory if not already there.
2. Run npm install.
3. Run npm start.
