Extra / in copied compare URLs?

Noticed this from push the last few days, haven't debugged yet:
Compare URL copied to clipboard:
https://github.com/lolwut/mysecret//compare/ed5ac6f...7932d4b
Works fine but looks amateurish!

Yeah still works fine
I don’t see this in all cases, not sure what causes it
