It's an application that allows a user view various news sources on the homepage of the application.It uses the NEWSAPI that helps us generate news from various sources.
In this application the user is able to:-
- To see various news sources on the homepage of the application.
- To select a news source and see all news articles from the selected news source in the application.
- To see the image, description and the time a news article was created.
- To click on an article and read the full article on the source website.
- To get the code..
- Cloning the repository: git clone https://github.com/gladys-gg/411News.git
- Move to the folder and install requirements
- cd 411News
- pip install -r requirements.txt
- Exporting Configurations
- export API_KEY='{Enter your News Api Key}'
- Running the application
- chmod a+x start.sh
- ./start.sh
- Testing the application
- python3.6 manage.py test
- Open the application on your browser 127.0.0.1:5000.
