Project suspended because of an issue for HTTTPS VPC endpoint services. You can still use the HTTPS termination of API Gateway by not enabling the HTTPS listener of the load balancer.
Lots of code has been migrated to aws-api-gateway module. You can still use this module to setup a direct proxy intgration with SSL termination on ApiGateway/Load Balancer side or use the newer version and create the required configuration by your own. This module will eventually be updated later, especially with AWS VPCE SSL passthrough.
This module creates a proxy integration with API Gateway to route traffic securely into a VPC and proxy an API within that VPC.
The required Network Load Balancer can be placed into multiple subnets by providing the Subnet-ID or a reference to a remote state containing an output public_subnet_ids.
Note: The Load Balancer should be placed into the public subnets of your VPC. (TBC with VPCE)
