Installing scaffoldhub gem
gem install scaffoldhub

if you are using bundler:
gem 'scaffoldhub'
and then 
bundle install

Use mcolorpicker scaffold:
rails generate scaffoldhub author name:string color:string --scaffold colorpicker_scaffold/scaffold_spec.rb:color
