The Travel Diary This is an app that allows users to document their travel experiences, including notes, and location information. This guide will walk you through the steps to set up and run the app on your local machine.

Prerequisites Android Studio is installed on your machine. A Firebase project set up at Firebase Console.

Installation Clone the repository: git clone https://github.com/gracemakai/The_travel_diary.git

Open the project in Android Studio:

Open Android Studio. Select "Open an existing Android Studio project." Browse to the location where you cloned the repository and select the project. Set up Firebase in your project:

Go to the Firebase Console and create a new project. Follow the instructions to add your Android app to the Firebase project. You'll need to provide the package name (e.g., com.grace.thetraveldiary) and download the google-services.json configuration file. Place the google-services.json file in the app module of your Android project. Run the app:

Build and run the app on an emulator or a physical device using Android Studio.
