Providing More Built-in Dictionaries

Opened this issue · 2 comments

Currently, Grascii provides a built-in pre-anniversary dictionary based on the 1916 Gregg Shorthand Dictionary. However, there have been many other iterations of the Gregg shorthand system through the years, and it would be helpful to include built-in dictionaries for other versions of the system.

I am curious to hear which version of Gregg do you use? Also, which version would you most like to see added to Grascii in the near future?

Any help in creating Grascii dictionaries for any of these versions would be much appreciated. If you are interested in helping, just let me know. Details on the dictionary source file format is available here.

Also, if you happen to know of any preexisting reverse Gregg shorthand dictionaries in any format, leave a comment below.

Here are other versions of Gregg in chronological order with links to their corresponding dictionaries:

For the addition of phrase dictionaries, see #1.

I noticed that qwertigraphy has some reverse anniversary dictionaries. I think they could be converted into Grascii's format.

Mission accomplished! See #11 for more details.
