SimpleX User Groups Index

List of Communities, Group Chats, Bots, and More.

(This text section below can be skipped actually, some of it is rambling too much haha.)

Introduction

This index lists various public groups within the SimpleX community. It is not meant to be a comprehensive index of all or most groups on the platform, and in the future, smaller, federated indexes made by communities and users, and public group/discovery servers will be introduced to solve this. Note that this index undermines the intrinsic anonymity of private group chats, as they are not meant to be indexable globally.

Premable.. mumble..?

This is an experimental project with no future plans., as it's already a terminally ill concept laying in its deathbed.

More Information

Why an Index is Pointless or Falsely Portrays How Group Discovery Works

SimpleX only uses minimal moderation tools in its groups, and in fact, these go against the concept of fully anonymous groups.

This means that lists and "discovery" channels all void the private invite methods of groups, which can be limited to specific people, thereby undermining a group's privacy and may misjudge what SimpleX conveys with private groups, which are hidden by default.
