Tick boxes content indistinguishable

phcerdan opened this issue · 1 comments

Hey, I am using gnome 2.x in Centos 6.5
I have installed Moonrise in Ubuntu before with some contrast problems, but they were solved exporting SWT_GTK3=0.
I am facing that I cannot distinguish if a tick-box is checked or not. SWT_GTK3=0 option does nothing.

But in some other cases it is all right.

I have tried gnome-color-chooser, and the only option that changes this behavior is: Global->Entry Fields, but that affects everything else in a not really nice way.

gnome-color-chooser

As a workaround, I am keen to customize the gnome-theme to "fill" the tick-boxes with a solid colour, instead of the white tick (I have seen this in other themes). But some link to information sources about how to do this would be appreciated --I don't even know how the interior of the tick-boxes is called in the .css of the theme to google it.

I solved installing a dark theme for gnome 2. This looks nice enough.

This is not a moonrise issue, but I wasn't sure where to publish this. Closing.
