DETECT-A-PLOD
A script for querying the Kismet rest API for MAC addresses matching Axon manufacturer prefixes, or Sierra Wireless airlink router - devices often used by police.
This script requires an operational kismet server to connect to and query. It is installed by default on kali Linux.
sudo kismet
You will be prompted to create a username and password on the first run. A web interface is available on localhost:2501 where you can enable your wireless devices as Data Sources.
From this computer, or another, you can run the detect-a-plod script.
You will need to update the detect.py script with your kismet details.
To install the requirements of the script:
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
Once the dependencies are installed, the script can be run:
python3 detect.py
