npe2 migration?

It seems that napari-plugin-engine is now getting deprecated. Is it better to migrate to npe2, or shall we do that after scaffolding? @haesleinhuepf

I tried the automatic migration, but unfortunately, it didn't work well.

Hi @yfukai ,

I'm waiting with transitioning to npe2 until it supports menus. Otherwise there is no reason/ advantage of using npe2 over the old approach. Nothing to worry about. I'm maintaining 40 plugins that are not npe2 yet ;-)
