Usage

Note: The latest executable can be found in the Release folder.

Executable Location

Download the latest executable from the Release folder and follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Release folder.
  2. Download the executable file
  3. Run the executable to launch the game.

Running the Game Locally in Unity

To run the game locally in Unity, follow these steps:

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have the following prerequisites installed on your machine:

  • Unity Hub - Download and install Unity Hub to manage your Unity installations.
  • Unity - Install the version of Unity specified in the project.

Installation

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/hafizhaua/wild-escape-nusantara.git
  2. Open Unity Hub and click on the "Add" button to add the project folder.

  3. Navigate to the cloned project folder and select it.

  4. Once the project is added, click on it to open it in Unity.

Running the Game

  1. After opening the project in Unity, navigate to the "Scenes" folder in the "Project" tab.

  2. Double-click on the main scene file (e.g., MainScene.unity) to open it in the Unity editor.

  3. Click the "Play" button in the Unity editor to run the game in the editor.

Building the Executable

If you want to build the executable to run the game outside of Unity, follow these additional steps:

  1. In Unity, go to File > Build Settings.

  2. In the Build Settings window, click on "Add Open Scenes" to add the current scene to the build.

  3. Select the target platform (e.g., Windows, Mac, Linux) and click on "Switch Platform."

  4. Click on "Build" to generate the executable.

  5. Unity will create an executable file in the specified build folder. Locate the executable and run it to play the game.
