Installation

To get started with DjangoEHR, follow these installation steps:

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/yourusername/djangoehr.git
  2. Create a virtual environment and activate it:

    python -m venv venv
    source venv/bin/activate  # On Windows, use `venv\Scripts\activate`
  3. Install project dependencies:

    pip install -r requirements.txt
  4. Configure your database settings in the settings.py file.

  5. Apply database migrations:

    python manage.py migrate
  6. Create a superuser account:

    pip install django-htmx
  7. Start the development server:

    python manage.py runserver
  8. Access the admin interface at http://localhost:8000/admin/ and log in with your superuser credentials to start using DjangoEHR.
