Android Piconet Sample

This sample demonstrates how to use the Bluetooth LE Generic Attribute Profile (GATT) to connect to multiple Bluetooth LE devices. It can serve as a connectivity module for BLE apps.

Introduction

This sample shows a list of available Bluetooth LE devices and provides an interface to connect and display GATT services/characteristics supported by the devices.

It creates a Service for managing connections and data communication with GATT servers hosted on various Bluetooth LE devices. Data communication methods are provided but not triggered in this sample.

The Activity communicates with the Service, which in turn interacts with the Bluetooth LE API.

Pre-requisites

  • Android SDK 27
