Upgrade to commons-lang3

The client still uses the old commons-lang jar - it would be great if at some point, that would be upgraded to the new(ish) commons-lang3 library.

Sure - as soon as this Cassandra JIRA issue gets resolved (since cassandra-all is a dependency, this will need to be handled first).
