The authors of jssip are planning to remove built-in WebRTC support, which would eliminate the need for this repo. If/when that happens, this README will be updated with how to use node-webrtc in regular JsSIP.
- Runs in Node.js only.
- SIP over WebSocket-node
- Audio/video calls over node-webrtc and instant messaging
- Lightweight!
- Easy to use and powerful user API
- Works with OverSIP, Kamailio, Asterisk. Mobicents and repro (reSIProcate) servers (more info)
- Written by the authors of RFC 7118 "The WebSocket Protocol as a Transport for SIP" and OverSIP
