A python script to receive nice Radarr notifications.

Python 2.7 or higher
Python libraries: urllib (or urllib2), json, telepot

Telegram bot: get token and chat Id

To use the Telegram Bot API, you will first have to create a bot account by chatting with BotFather then get a unique authentication token. The token is a string which looks like 110201543:AAHdqTcvCH1vGWJxfSeofSAs0K5PALDsaw. To get the chat Id, start a chat with your newly created bot by sending a message then access https://api.telegram.org/bot<token>/getUpdates. The chat Id is available in the response "chat":{"id":.

Add credentials to the script

Edit the file and enter your Radarr and Telegram information.

Make the file executable (Linux only)

sudo chmod +x rrNotifications.py

Add the script to Radarr

Scripts are added to Radarr via System > Connect > Add > Custom Script. Fill in Name and Path only.
