A development oriented proxy server based off of procfiles and multicast dns. Inspired by Pow.
- Install Go and set up your $GOPATH
- Clone this repo
- Run
bash __support__/install.sh
Symlink any application that has a procfile (or a config.ru) into the configuration directory.
$ ln -s <project_path> /usr/local/etc/innervate/my-app-name
Navigate to your application
$ open http://my-app-name.localhost/
Innervate uses system links manage the applications being served. It supports the following flags to configure global behavior. To use these flags, edit Innervate’s init script (plist/systemd unit/etc) and relaunch the binary via your initd.
The location of the configuration directory. Defaults to /usr/local/etc/innervate
.
The port to run the proxy on. For development purposes, it defaults to 8080
but default installations should
set it to 80
.
Whether to terminate in a way to have the initd restart Innervate. Defaults to false
for development, but
default installations should set it to true
The port to start at when assigning ports for hosted services. Defaults to 10000
.
The top level domain to use for DNS entries. Per RFC 2606 this defaults to localhost
.
