  • Prerequisites
    • Have these programs installed on your device:
      • MongoDB
      • ElasticSearch
      • Node
      • NPM
  • How to run
    • Install required packages with npm install in the root folder
    • Create a folder for the database named db
    • Start a mongodb database with mongod --dbpath db
    • Start an elasticsearch node on localhost:9200 by running the bat file that came with ElasticSearch
    • Start the API by running node index.js
    • Query the API on localhost:4000/api/companies
