Multi-column note editor Add-On appears broken

Hi, I'm using the newest version of Anki 2 on Windows 7. The add-on installs without problems, and I can even change the "column" number at the bottom right of the window, but there is no change in the GUI or field placement/layout. Am I misunderstanding something perhaps?
Did it work for you on a previous version of Anki, or is this the first time you've tried it?
It is possible that another add-on is interfering with this one. Do you have any other add-ons that modify the note editor in some way? If so, could you try disabling them and seeing if that makes a difference?
Thanks Houssam for the advice!
This is my first time trying this add-on.
I have other add-ons, but I don't believe they modify the note editor.
Forgive me for asking another question:
How does one selectively disable/enable add-ons?
Is my only choice to completely delete the other add-ons to test this one?
(I use a number of plugins vital to my studies)

.
The easiest way to test this would be to rename the addons folder to something else (e.g., addons2
), then create a new addons
folder and only put the Multi-column_note_editor.py
file in it then start Anki again.
Any update on this issue?
