akka-http-json provides JSON (un)marshalling support for Akka HTTP. Currently it supports Play JSON and spray-json.
akka-http-json depends on akka-http 1.0-M5.
Grab it while it's hot:
// All releases including intermediate ones are published here,
// final ones are also published to Maven Central.
resolvers += "hseeberger at bintray" at "http://dl.bintray.com/hseeberger/maven"
libraryDependencies ++= List(
"de.heikoseeberger" %% "akka-http-json-play" % "0.4.0", // or akka-http-json-spray
...
)
Mix PlayJsonMarshalling
or SprayJsonMarshalling
into your Akka HTTP code which is supposed to (un)marshal from/to JSON. Don't forget to provide the necessary format type class instances for Play JSON or spray-json.
A complete demo using akka-http-json is Reactive Flows. Have fun, and please report any issues, suggestions, complaints.
