Searx Dark Theme

This is a dark theme for searx the free internet metasearch engine. This theme can be applied to your browser from userstyles with an add-on or by installing it manually.

It includes some minor improvements to the user interface.

Installation

To make it work set the theme to «oscar» and the style to «Logicodev» in the preferences of your searx site. This setting is the default on most searx sites.

Installation With Add-On

Install the theme from userstyles.org with an add-on: https://userstyles.org/styles/138093/searx-dark-theme-for-theme-oscar-logicodev. You can also just copy and paste the css into your add-on editor.

Some add-ons you can use:

Firefox Manual Installation

Go to your profile folder (about:support > Open Folder).
Go into the chrome folder (create it if it doesn't exist).
Clone this repo into the folder or donwload the repo and paste it manually.
Create the file userContent.css if it doesn't exist.
Add an import rule to userContent.css: @import url("searx-userstyle-dark-theme/searx-dark-theme-stylish.css");
Restart the browser.

Supported Urls

The style is applied to quite a lot of urls (status: green) taken from http://stats.searx.oe5tpo.com/. Some of those sites may be down. If you wish to add a site you are welcome to make a pull request.
