when i move to date with animateToDate, selection color still remain. How can I fix it?

I don't know If you have got the solution. But I faced the same problem and solved by these methods.

1. I used the fixed version of this library.
   date_picker_timeline_fixed

2. Define the date picker as mentioned in the example.

3. Then called the 'setDateAndAnimate(_updatedDate)' method of DatePickerController inside 'setState(...) whenever I needed to change the date.
   setState(() {
   _datePickerController?.setDateAndAnimate(_updatedDate);
   });
