Requirements

  • Latest version of Docker for your OS

Installation

  1. Install Docker

  2. In your terminal in the directory for this repository, run: docker-compose up

  • This will output something like this in your terminal: tarting datascience-notebook-container ... done Attaching to datascience-notebook-container

  1. Look for the localhost:8888 with a token value proceeding it
  • Click on the link
  1. Your localhost:8888 should display a Jupyter notebook
  • Click on the Hackathon Demo.ipynb file
  1. Read the analysis

Other files

  • docker-compose.yml - file that creates the docker container to run Jupyter Notebooks
  • kickstarter_analyze.py - file that analyzes kickstarter data in the Data folder
