This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app
.
First, clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/ibfaye/NextJS_Clerk.git
and install the required packages:
pnpm install
# or
npm install
If you have a Clerk account, sign In, or Sign Up if not.
Create an new application or use an existing application and copy the following environment variables in your .en.local
file in the root directory of your project.
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=''
CLERK_SECRET_KEY=''
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_SIGN_IN_URL=/sign-in
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_SIGN_UP_URL=/sign-up
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_AFTER_SIGN_IN_URL=/
NEXT_PUBLIC_CLERK_AFTER_SIGN_UP_URL=/
I use Shadcn/ui components, run the following in the terminal to initialize Shadcn.
pnpm dlx shadcn-ui@latest init
# or
npx shadcn-ui@latest init
Now, you can run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
pnpm dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font
to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
