My Projects

Monorepo + submodules of personal projects.

Why

Each project is treated as a submodule (git submodules) and a workspace (npm workspaces).

I can make a change in one project and it is instantly reflected in every project that uses it
one node_modules for all projects, since most share the same dependencies

every project has its own place in github
handle all projects as one in VsCode, easy to make mass changes
parent project holds content relevant to multiple projects, like CONTRIBUTING.md

I'm trying to DRY my projects while keeping easy for people to create MRs.

  - it allows code navigation with packages using exports in package.json
