1. Get a btsync archive from http://www.getsync.com/download 2. Put bittorrent_sync_x64.tar.gz together with other files in this repo 3. Run make version=1.4.99 (or whatever version you have now) 4. ??? 5. PROFIT! .rpm is in RPMS/x86_64. Install it as rpm -Uvh btsync-1.4.99-1.x86_64.rpm. Package creates the following files: /etc/btsync_users # list of users to run btsync for, one user per line /etc/rc.d/init.d/btsync # btsync service script /usr/local/bin/btsync # btsync binary /usr/share/doc/btsync-1.4.99 # btsync license and readme coming together in the archive /usr/share/doc/btsync-1.4.99/LICENSE.TXT /usr/share/doc/btsync-1.4.99/README Service expects to find .sync folder in user's home directory and config file as ~/.sync/config.json. Run btsync --dump-sample-config > ~/.sync/config.json to get a (yes!) sample config.
