I include in-line notes in my code to help explain each step of my solution.

p.s. I really recommend taking the Harvard cs50x 'Intro to CS' course online. It's the only class that has made coding "click" for me. And its FREE!! Weeks 0-5 are the important ones. If lack of programming practice/knowledge is the only thing in the way of making your dream project (or getting a job lol) just do it. If you complete the whole thing you can put a certification in your LinkedIn.
