Fluent-Npp brings the dark theme from Visual Studio to Notepad++, with Mica effect support.
This version is based on VS2019-Dark-Npp by SeanCline, with the main update being the addition of the Mica effect for a more dynamic, modern look.
- If you haven't already, enable Dark Mode in Notepad++ by going to Preferences -> Dark Mode for a better overall look.
- Right-click
HERE
and select Save As to download the theme file. - Go to
%APPDATA%\Notepad++
- Open the
themes
folder (create one if it doesn’t exist). - Place the downloaded
.xml
file into this folder. - Restart Notepad++.
- Go to
Settings -> Style Configurator
- Select
Fluent
from the theme dropdown. - Click
Save & Close
- Go to
Settings -> Preferences -> Dark Mode
- Set the
Top
andMain
tone color toBlack
or#000000
- Close the preferences.
- Install the Npp-DarkNpp plugin.
- Open
Plugins -> DarkNpp -> Mica
to enable the effect.
