Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up and run the FinancePal project on Android Studio:

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone https://github.com/your-username/financepal.git

  2. Open Android Studio:

    • Launch Android Studio on your machine.

  3. Import the Project:

    • In Android Studio, click on "File" in the top menu.
    • Select "Open" and navigate to the directory where you cloned the FinancePal repository.
    • Choose the financepal directory and click "OK" to import the project.

  4. Build and Run:

    • Once the project is loaded, wait for Android Studio to sync and build the project.
    • After the build is successful, click on the green "Run" button (or press Shift + F10) to launch the FinancePal app on an emulator or connected device.

  5. Explore FinancePal:

    • The app should now be running, allowing you to explore the expense management features.
