[3.3.1] Assessment of the Data Content Quality

Melissa: What aspects of data quality does this cover?
Giselle: As guidance we do this https://ega-archive.org/about/quality-control-reports
Melissa: Would this be clear to the uninitiated based on the given language?
Giselle: I would like to think so....
Mallory: I think it's a good idea to keep this a bit vague in terms of what specific aspects of data quality should be assessed, as this might differ between FEGA nodes. We can point to what CEGA does as an example, but it's not the only way. Also nodes might collect different data types that have different QC standards, or new QC standards might develop over time
Melissa: I definitely agree agree with not being overly prescriptive. I just wanted to be sure that people will understand the scope of what "data content quality" means, but it sounds like technical people will be comfortable with that term. Thanks!
