Getting Started

Follow these instructions to set up the Task Manager App on your local machine.

Prerequisites

  • Node.js installed on your system.
  • npm (Node Package Manager) or Yarn for managing dependencies.

Installation

  1. Clone this repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/indro10/TaskManager.git
  2. Navigate to the project directory:

    frontend

    ```bash
    cd app.taskmanager.frontend
    ```
    

    backend

    ```bash
    cd app.taskmanager.backend
    ```
    
  3. Install the required dependencies:

    npm install
    # or
    yarn install
  4. Configure the environment variables. Use the .env file in the project root and add the necessary variables, such as database connection details, API keys, or any other sensitive information.

  5. Start the development server:

    frontend

    ```bash
    npm start
    # or
    yarn start
    ```
    

    backend

    ```bash
    node index.js
    
    ```
    

The app will be running on http://localhost:3000.

Usage

  1. Register an account or log in if you already have one.
  2. Create new tasks by clicking the "Add Task" button.
  3. Edit, delete, and mark tasks as completed by selecting the task.
