Q: I want to remove my funds, can I? A: The moonbeams dev team has made a quick and dirty UI available @ https://moonbeanstoken.com/#/communityhelp Others have used https://emergency.rugdoc.io/
Q: I am trying to remove funds, but it's not going. A: Funds that were placed in October 2021 are likely placed in the v3 of the contracts which have been drained.
Q: I see the funds on https://emergency.rugdoc.io/ but I cannot withdraw my tokens A: Likely you are seeing a receipt for the tokens. However since the vault is drained...
Q: I am on the moonbeanstoken site and I found the tokens in the dropdown list, but the send button isn't working. A: The UI is a quick and dirty way to help the community. Error handling was not put in place, the vault is likely empty, and there is a small chance that the site borked in which case you need to try again later.
Q: I lost a lot, I'm in trouble! A: Sorry to hear. We're doing the best we can to minimize the damage.
Q: Weren't they audited? A: Auditing firm (Bitrise audits) is helping us with the investigation. Contracts were redeployed after audit (audit is voided) Contracts deployed were never verified on chain (no guarantee that audited <> deployed contracts were the same)
Q: I want to give out a reward: A: We appreciate the generousity. We are currently working on minimizing the damage. The moonbeans team did make a quick and dirty UI which has worked for some of us. Q: Can't we associate IP addresses with wallet addresses? A: Moonswap team could do this potentially via server logs. This could be useful for the exchanges when the full investigation start, but for us not so useful right now
Q: We found a dev on github that opened an issue. A: As much as we would like to find someone to blame, we need to be careful. It certainly is plausible, however he closed the issue and stated that he, like you, commited some funds to the project and just went a step further and went over their code and found an issue.
