Herome is a robot that processes frames at 13 FPS to follow its owner around turns, curves, and nearby humans at maxiumum velocity of 0.7 m/s. Powered by 6 rechargable lithium ion cells, it has a bluetooth interface to allow its owner to text to Herome whatever the owner wants Herome to say as well as a taser that the user can activate through the BLE interface to scare off any potential bullies.
This was made for ECE 4180 Embedded Systems as a final class project in a group of 4 teammates over a 4 week period. Documentation and project overview are described in more details in the github pages link here and a video demo is on Youtube here
