Originally I wrote these notes for Ubuntu 14.04, but later it was updated for Ubuntu 16.04. Both versions are available:
- Ubuntu 14.04 -- gunicorn is started with upstart
- Ubuntu 16.04 -- gunicorn is started with systemd
