A device which visually represents sound into separate frequency bands. The device is recommended for use at music events, house parties, or the recreational enjoyment of music in one’s home.
The components of the project include:
- MSQEQ7 Breakout Board This is used to analyse music into seven seperate bands of frequencies. In term, they are used to toggle the status of the LEDs on each strip
- Green LED A power indicator
- 7 WS2812 LED Strips Used for graphic output of sound frequncies using several different colours
- 10k Resistor Used in series with the power indicator
- 6 Pin Female Header Enable the MSGEQ7 breakout to be removed from the board and replaced if necessary
