MyFriend.co.ke
is a platform dedicated to tracking, documenting, and informing the public about the Kenyan government's delivered and undelivered promises. Our goal is to promote transparency, accountability, and active citizen participation in governance.
We will be using the following technologies:
- Frontend: ReactJS with TypeScript

The roadmap is divided into several key phases:
- 1.1 Gather initial data on government promises from trusted sources.
- 1.2 Develop a system for ongoing data collection (e.g., regular checks of government announcements, news, etc.)
- 1.3 Implement a data curation and verification process to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- 2.1 Define and design the website architecture.
- 2.2 Develop the frontend, ensuring a user-friendly interface.
- 2.3 Develop the backend, ensuring robust data handling and security.
- 2.4 Implement a system for users to submit new information or updates.
- 2.5 Test the website thoroughly for bugs and usability issues.
- 3.1 Deploy the website.
- 3.2 Launch a marketing and public relations campaign to attract users.
- 3.3 Establish partnerships with relevant organizations to promote the website.
- 4.1 Regularly update the website based on user feedback and technological advancements.
- 4.2 Expand the scope of the website as necessary (e.g., include local government promises).
- 4.3 Develop a sustainable business model to support the website's operations.
