This Python script will analyze the contents of your Facebook data export locally. To use this script, place facebook.py
in the same folder as your extracted Facebook data dump. Then, open the Terminal and run:
$ pip install bs4 lxml
$ python facebook.py
Which will produce the following output:
Number of Videos: 175
Number of Photos: 292
Number of Comments: 90
Average Comments Per Photo: 0.31
Top 10 Commenters:
