A desktop app that uses google's task API for managing tasks directly from your linux/mac/windows desktop
The idea behind the application was to provide a desktop version of the tasks api that I have used a lot in the past and is very simple and convinient. Since it works on your phone and gmail as well so gives you a good seamless switch.
NOTE: This is written on PyQt5 and Python3. So will require these as the minimum, also since I am using the "google api" so you will need the apiclient installed and the oauth2 module for authentication.
The application should look something like this -
