Hey buddy I have your plugin all working perfectly just wanted to know if it is possible to
1- be able to be notified through HomeKit if the alarm is triggered ? And more importantly..
2- is it possible to trigger an automation from the alarm being triggered? Say lights and other speakers and what not?
If not now is this possible to be added in any way?

Hi @xkyle22x

It should be possible yes. But it might not trigger as soon as the alarm does as the plug-in checks the status of the alarm every say 30 seconds. You can reduce that time but it adds extra calls to Yale which they might get annoyed about eventually.

When I get some time I will look to add this. Need some time when my neighbours don’t mind my alarm going off a couple of times to test!

That’s not really an issue but I will get it fixed in the next update. Did you have any luck with the ping?

No I couldn’t ssh to Pi for some reason but it has been working last few days. The Yale app signs me out every few days and I have to sign in with my password again and I think what’s happening is that when the app signs out on my phone homebridge has issues.
