The code is from 2011. It uses Python 2.7, using a very old version of PIL. It should be rewritten:
- the main library and unit tests should be updated to Python 3 and Pillow
- release this as Gameduino 1.0.4 (Python 3 only)
- the live site should be updated to Python 3 using Gameduino 1.0.4
