Swipecation is is a progressive web application for planning and exploring staycation destination
The world is moving on to a new normal. And people start planning their holidays. Experts predict that more of us will be staying closer to home. Thus, the staycation trend looks set to continue and become even more popular. Travel Plus survey shows that 61% participants feel hopeful about travel in 2021, of whom 83% will take two or more domestic trips. Demands for staycations on weekends significantly increased the occupancy rate of the apartment to 47.4% by the end of 2020. Bhima Y. A. of the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance, said that staycation trend rose 40-300% during the pandemic. These facts lead us to believe that there are jobs to do for us. Delivering new means of showing information about unique lodging for staycation purposes and giving ease to plan for prefered places and activities for staycation.
Thus, we decided to make Swipecation as a solution for this problem.

- install node.js (https://nodejs.org/en/download/)
- install NPM (https://www.npmjs.com/get-npm)
- go to the frontend directory by using command
cd swipecation - install all dependencies by using command
npm install - start the program by using command
npm start - open your browser, and go to localhost:3000
