Godot 3 has limitations that Godot 4 has lifted.
Describe the solution you'd like
I want to port PLY to Godot 4.
Additional context
- the ImmediateMesh change needs to verified
- expected state. nothing is working, but plugin loads

How far are we from declaring this is done?

Main is switched to Godot 4.
Done.
Future work. Release on Godot 4 asset library.
